Comprehensive Dental Exam 
Consistent dental examinations are critical to maintain your oral health and help to prevent future oral diseases, tooth loss and things that can affect your oral and your overall health.
 Every new patient at Lakeside Family Dentistry gets a comprehensive examination, where all necessary Digital X-rays and photos are taken. We will find out about your dental experience, concerns and expectations. We will also review a thorough medical and dental history to provide the best treatments that meets your needs . Our comprehensive exam includes a full inspection of the soft tissues of your head and neck, including oral and skin cancer screening, examining jaw joints (TMJ) for mobility and function, and examining your teeth for decay. we will also look at your Occlusion  to determine the health of your bite and tooth alignment. We also examine the condition of your gums and bone support.
 Once we have had a close look at all of the information, we will explain our treatment recommendations and options. Depending on the complexity of your specific needs we may then choose to take more complete photos and impressions of your teeth to more comprehensively evaluate your situation.
